Environmental and Social Mitigation Framework (ESMF) training Workshop

<p>SWIOTUNA participated in an Environmental and Social Mitigation Framework (ESMF) training at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Antananarivo, Madagascar. <br />
The training was attended by SWIOTUNA representatives, WWF Environmental and Social Safeguards Framework (ESSF) focal persons, and WWF CSO partners. <br />
It aimed to enhance the capacity of CSO partners to implement ESMF effectively, fostering collaboration and shared understanding among key players dedicated to marine biodiversity conservation and community rights.<br />
At the end of the training participants were strengthened on their understanding of ESMF processes, enhancing their skills in monitoring and reporting on mitigation plans, and fostering cooperative management approaches for successful ESMF implementation across the South West Indian Ocean region.</p>
