High-Level Breakfast Meeting on Launch of Kenya’s Blue Economy Strategy

SWIOTUNA participate in high-level breakfast meeting on the launch of Kenya's Blue Economy Strategy at Radisson Blu Hotel in Nairobi on the 26th of February 2026. The breakfast focused on how the Strategy advances inclusive growth, environmental stewardship, community livelihoods, and evidence-based decision-making, while creating space for CSOs and research institutions to align programmes, share insights, and shape implementation pathways. The engagement also contribute to Kenya’s preparations for the upcoming global ocean conference.
Our participation was very crucial in strengthening our ties with the ministry, especially taking into consideration the upcoming anticipated sustainable fisheries projects.
